Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular assessments of portfolio countries
Develop short- and medium-term strategies (3-year plans)
Prepare country partnership strategies and business plans
Coordinate implementation of annual work plans
Identify and develop a pipeline of public sector projects
Evaluate financing opportunities and conduct risk assessments
Lead project appraisals, including technical, economic, and ESG analysis
Coordinate approvals with internal committees and governing bodies
Support implementation, procurement, and disbursement processes
Maintain partnerships with governments and executing agencies
Collaborate with development finance institutions (DFIs)
Identify co-financing opportunities
Expand strategic partnerships across portfolio countries
Support training and capacity-building initiatives
Participate in knowledge-sharing activities
Supervise analysts and interns
Manage data systems such as MIS/SAP/EDMS

Requirements

Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
At least five years of relevant professional experience
Preferably two years in an international development institution
Fluency in English
Additional languages (Arabic, French, Portuguese, Spanish) are advantageous
