Overview

The CSEAS Fellowship Programme, offered by the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) at Kyoto University, supports advanced research, writing, and scholarly exchange for visiting scholars from diverse backgrounds.

Eligibility

• Accomplished scholars of high standing
• Under 65 years of age at the time of appointment
• Hold a PhD (exceptions permitted with prior approval)
• Not currently enrolled in a graduate/postdoctoral programme
• Experienced librarians (for library-specific positions)
• At least six years elapsed since any previous CSEAS fellowship before reapplying
