Overview

The Digital Resilience Fellowship is a targeted initiative aimed at strengthening digital safety among grassroots human rights defenders and civil society actors. This fellowship equips participants with the tools and knowledge necessary to protect themselves and their organisations.

Eligibility

Individuals actively engaged in civil society and community-based work.
Work within a civil society organisation or grassroots initiative.
Involved in human rights advocacy, environmental protection, media and journalism, civic engagement.
Operate in Northern, Eastern, Western, or Southern Uganda.
Face or are exposed to digital security risks in their work.
Demonstrate commitment to applying and sharing digital security knowledge.

8-week structured mentorship programme.
One-on-one pairing with mentors from the Digital Security Alliance.
Hands-on technical support and guidance.
Training in device security, secure communication tools, account protection, data backup, and incident response.
