Overview
The Smart Africa Alliance is hiring a SAMA Digital Skills Associate Project Manager to support the implementation of digital skills initiatives under its flagship Smart Africa Markets for All (SAMA) programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of digital skills initiatives
- Coordinate training programmes across participating countries
- Provide technical support for training design and delivery
- Align content with emerging skills such as digital literacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data and entrepreneurship skills
- Ensure inclusion of women, persons with disabilities, and marginalized youth
- Track programme performance indicators and learning outcomes
- Engage implementing and training partners
- Prepare quarterly and annual progress reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Information Technology, Digital Education, Project Management, or related fields
- Minimum 7 years in digital skills programmes or training initiatives
- Experience with e-learning platforms or digital academies
- Strong background in monitoring and evaluation of training outcomes
- Fluency in English and French
