Overview
The Climate Reality Project is seeking a Digital Specialist to serve as a key analytics and data support partner within the digital and communications teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reports to track digital and communication initiatives.
- Measure campaign effectiveness across paid and earned media channels.
- Map online user journeys and ladder of engagement progress.
- Manage data imports, exports, contact merges, and data quality control.
- Transform data into strategic insights and visualizations.
- Conduct in-depth trend analysis to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Produce reports suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support campaign debriefs and evaluation of mobilization, fundraising, and outreach efforts.
- Design and analyze A/B tests to enhance campaigns and user experience.
- Collaborate with digital team members for helpdesk support and operational improvements.
- Support organizational moments such as trainings, impact activities, and fundraising events.
- Contribute to team culture, onboarding, and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and visualizing data; proficiency in statistical methods, data visualization, and A/B testing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Deep concern for climate change and commitment to sustainable solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer; reasonable accommodations provided.
- Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in advocacy or nonprofit environments.
- Familiarity with platforms such as EveryAction/Bonterra, Salesforce, CIVIS, or similar.
