Overview

This consultancy offers a short-term assignment focused on strengthening disability inclusion in governance and policy development in Zimbabwe.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis: Review policy documents, engage with OPDs, and analyze policy gaps.
Capacity Building and Training: Design training sessions and facilitate workshops.
Policy Review Facilitation: Lead policy review exercises and provide technical guidance.
Policy Development and Advocacy Support: Assist in developing policy messages and engagement strategies.
Reporting and Documentation: Document the consultancy process and prepare a final report.

Requirements

Strong technical and facilitation skills in disability inclusion and policy analysis.
Experience in disability-focused training and direct work with OPDs.
Understanding of UNCRPD, SDGs, and African Disability Protocol.
Fluency in English, with Shona as an essential requirement.
