Overview

The Economic Recovery Assistant will support the implementation of DRC cash and voucher assistance programmes in Gusau, Zamfara State and Sokoto, focusing on strengthening the livelihoods of beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation of cash assistance programmes, ensure smooth distributions, and proper beneficiary registration.
• Organize business training and planning sessions for beneficiaries.
• Oversee community volunteers and coordinate nutrition-related activities.
• Work with local stakeholders and maintain relationships.
• Support monitoring and evaluation activities.
• Represent DRC at the local level as required.

Requirements

• University degree in relevant fields.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in cash and voucher assistance programming.
• Experience working with displaced populations.
• Knowledge of North East or North West Nigeria context is an advantage.
