Overview

The EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program (OFP) assists talented and determined, low-income Nigerian students who have strong academic records but lack the financial resources to cover the upfront costs of applying to U.S. colleges and universities.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be Nigerian.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
• Applicants must be fluent in English.
• Applicants must have a strong academic record/transcript.

Benefits

The OFP finances the costs of the application process, including standardized examination registration fees, and provides free membership to the U.S. EducationUSA Advising Center.
