    Applications are now open for the Erasmus+ FORestore International Training 2026, a fully funded learning opportunity for learners and trainers interested in forest restoration, sustainable forest management, and environmental sustainability.

    Organised by European Knowledge Spot (EKS) in partnership with Eduforma SRL, the international training will take place in Padova, Italy, from 28 September to 2 October 2026 as part of the FORestore – Forest Restoration through VET Capacity Building project.

    Selected participants will have their travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses covered through the Erasmus+ programme.

    About the FORestore International Training

    The FORestore project aims to strengthen vocational education and training (VET) in forest restoration by bringing together participants from Europe and Africa to exchange knowledge, practical skills, and innovative approaches to sustainable forest management.

    The five-day programme combines classroom learning with field-based experiences, providing participants with opportunities to engage with experts and fellow practitioners working in forestry and environmental conservation.

    What Participants Will Do

    During the international training in Padova, participants will:

    • Explore the newly developed FORestore Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).
    • Participate in practical field visits focused on forest restoration.
    • Network with learners and trainers from Europe and Africa.
    • Exchange experiences and best practices in sustainable forest restoration and management.
    • Strengthen international collaboration in environmental education and vocational training.

    The programme is designed to encourage knowledge sharing while building participants’ practical and professional skills in sustainable forestry.

    Who Can Apply?

    The open call is specifically aimed at individuals who are legally residing in Greece.

    Eligible applicants include:

    Learners who are studying:

    • Forest restoration
    • Forest management
    • Sustainable forestry
    • Environmental sustainability
    • Related academic disciplines

    Trainers who have academic qualifications and professional experience in:

    • Forest restoration
    • Forest management
    • Sustainable forestry
    • Environmental conservation
    • Related fields

    Applicants must also:

    • Be 18 years of age or older
    • Have at least an intermediate level of English (B1/B2) to actively participate in the training
    • Be legally residing in Greece

    Fully Funded Participation

    Selected participants will receive funding through the Erasmus+ FORestore project.

    The funding covers:

    • International travel
    • Accommodation
    • Daily subsistence expenses

    Funding will be provided in accordance with Erasmus+ project rules and funding conditions, allowing participants to focus on learning and international collaboration without bearing the major costs of attendance.
