Overview

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is inviting applications for the position of Evaluation Quality Assessment Consultant (Home-Based). This consultancy offers experienced evaluation professionals the opportunity to contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of global development programs while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Familiarize with UNFPA evaluation guidance documents.
Review assigned evaluation reports and assess their quality.
Rate quality indicators and provide justifications.
Identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
Prepare narrative summaries with recommendations.
Evaluate compliance with international frameworks.
Provide feedback to improve the EQA system.

Requirements

Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in evaluation, public health, or related field.
At least 7 years of professional evaluation experience, preferably with UN agencies.
Knowledge of international evaluation standards.
Strong analytical, communication, and deadline management skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of French, Portuguese, or Spanish is desirable.
