Events Manager @Figma

Overview

Figma is seeking an Events Manager to join their experiential marketing team, focusing on their flagship user conference, Config. This role involves shaping the conference's experiential strategy and requires expertise in event production to create memorable experiences for Figma’s community.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the experiential strategy and delivery for Config, translating objectives into engaging in-person experiences.
• Establish operating models and production standards for consistent execution across Config programs.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the attendee experience at Config.
• Lead complex, cross-functional workstreams, building alignment across stakeholders from strategy through execution.
• Collaborate with the Brand Studio to translate Figma's brand vision into real-life experiences.
• Manage program budgets and timelines, balancing creative ambitions with operational needs.
• Define success metrics to evaluate impacts and inform future strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in experiential marketing or event production with a focus on large-scale programs.
• Proven ownership of experiential strategy for large user conferences.
• Strong operations and program management skills.
• Ability to lead and influence across various functions.
• Effective amid shifting priorities and rapid changes.

Experience using Figma is a plus but not required.
