Overview

The Africa Range-Wide Cheetah Conservation Initiative (CCI) invites applications from motivated students across Southern Africa for postgraduate scholarships aimed at advancing cheetah and large carnivore conservation research.

This initiative is dedicated to reversing cheetah population declines and strengthening conservation efforts through innovative research, capacity building, and community engagement.

Eligibility

• Citizens of Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.
• Available for full-time study from early 2027.
• Relevant academic qualifications in conservation-related fields.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, enthusiasm for fieldwork, and a strong commitment to African conservation efforts.
