Overview
Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is hiring an Expert MEAL & Research in Anticipatory Action to strengthen evidence, learning, and impact across the WHH Anticipatory Humanitarian Action Facility (WAHAFA).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the ongoing development and refinement of WAHAFA’s MEAL framework in collaboration with the WHH Head Office MEAL team and partner organizations.
- Facilitate cross-organizational learning workshops, capture lessons learned, and support the dissemination of best practices and case studies.
- Coordinate external evaluations for the WAHAFA program’s second phase and oversee quality assurance across all MEAL activities.
- Maintain partnerships with universities, research institutes, and think tanks to promote evidence generation.
Requirements
- University degree in social sciences, humanitarian action, or a related field.
- Minimum of three to five years of professional experience in MEAL or research within humanitarian or anticipatory action contexts.
- Proven experience in development humanitarian MEAL systems, participatory methods, and impact assessments.
- Willingness to travel to project countries and work in diverse settings.
- Fluency in English and French.
