Young women aspiring to build careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education now have an outstanding opportunity to pursue university studies with full financial support. The Luigi Giussani Foundation (LGF), through the Leaders in Teaching Uganda (LIT-Uganda) Programme, has officially launched applications for the 2026/2027 Female STEM Student Teachers’ Scholarship.
The scholarship programme aims to support 1,000 young women in Uganda by removing financial barriers and increasing female participation in STEM teaching. Through this initiative, beneficiaries will receive comprehensive support to enable them to complete their Bachelor of Science with Education (BSc-Ed) studies and contribute to transforming education in Uganda.
The Luigi Giussani Foundation (LGF) is an indigenous Ugandan organization that has spent more than two decades addressing educational challenges through research, innovation, and capacity building.
