Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring, tracking, and reconciling financial data for grants and contracts
• Preparing monthly budget-to-actual reports
• Maintaining budget integrity within the organization’s accounting system
• Supporting financial oversight of sub-awards and funding allocations
• Ensuring compliance with funder regulations and organizational policies
• Reconciling sub-award reports and verifying financial accuracy
• Preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Assisting with audit preparation and financial statement development
• Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of three years in a finance role within a non-profit or international development setting
• Experience with financial reconciliation and reporting
• Familiarity with enterprise-level accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong data analysis and financial reporting capabilities
• Knowledge of non-profit accounting standards such as GAAP or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal)
