Overview

The Native American Scholarship Program (NASP), established by the New Mexico Gas Company, supports Native American students in New Mexico by providing financial assistance aimed at bridging educational gaps.

Eligibility

• Must be a resident of New Mexico
• Must be an enrolled member of a New Mexico Pueblo, Tribe, or Nation
• Must be either a high school senior graduating soon, a GED holder, or a current post-secondary student

Benefits

• A total of 20 scholarships will be awarded for the 2026–2027 academic year
• Each scholarship is valued at $3,000
• Renewal applicants can receive funding annually (up to three consecutive renewals)

Scholarship funds are paid directly to recipients to support educational expenses such as tuition and materials.
