This $5 million funding initiative supports community-driven solutions designed to create lasting change across selected cities.

Eligibility

Open to individuals, nonprofits, and organizations
No requirement to be a previous grant recipient
Applicants do not need to be a nonprofit
Collaborative and partnership-based ideas are encouraged

Projects must benefit one of Knight Foundation’s 26 communities.

Benefits

Up to $200,000 in grant funding per project
Must be completed within one year
Access to a network of changemakers and support from Knight Foundation
