Global Artivism is inviting expressions of interest for its Governance Fellow 2026, a unique remote fellowship opportunity for emerging governance professionals, community organizers, movement builders, researchers, and civic leaders who are passionate about democratic governance, institutional design, and social justice. The fellowship offers an opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s leading Global Majority-led movements that leverages arts and culture as powerful tools for social transformation.
This 12-month independent contractor fellowship is open globally, with priority given to applicants from the Global South. Fellows will work remotely while collaborating with an international network of artists, activists, governance experts, and movement leaders dedicated to building a more just, equitable, and sustainable world.
The Governance Fellow will support the development of governance systems, democratic institutional processes, committee coordination, and strategic documentation that strengthens Global Artivism’s organizational infrastructure during an important phase of its democratic transition.
