The Eastern Cape Provincial Government, through the Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEDEAT), is inviting applications from unemployed graduates residing in the Eastern Cape Province for its 2026/27 – 2027/28 Internship Programme.

Stipend: R8,174.75 per month

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should possess:

NQF Level 6 qualification in Risk Management
Auditing qualification
Equivalent relevant qualification
Law/LLB qualification

General Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

Be unemployed and resident in the Eastern Cape Province
Hold a 3-year Degree or National Diploma from an accredited tertiary institution
Not have participated in any previous Government Internship Programme
Provide proof of residence not older than 3 months before interview stage
Meet departmental equity and transformation targets

Preference will be given to:

Persons with disabilities
