Overview
The Guttmacher Institute is seeking a Senior Research Assistant to provide critical research support for its Adding It Up (AIU) project, which focuses on sexual and reproductive health services for women and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve data collection issues.
- Clean, process, and verify data for accuracy.
- Programmatically generate tables and reports from data.
- Support senior staff in managing and analyzing international survey data.
- Conduct literature searches and draft article summaries.
- Create tables and figures for manuscripts and presentations.
- Coordinate meetings and provide operational support.
- Serve as an internal resource for software applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of related experience.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis software (e.g., Stata, R).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with reproductive health topics.
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
