Overview
Aflatoun International is seeking a MERL Intern to support its Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning team. This is a 3-4 month paid internship focused on social and financial education programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Data cleaning and analysis for the annual survey.
- Drafting the annual survey report.
- Supporting M&E activities for external projects.
- Disseminating evidence via webinars, journals, and blogs.
- Assisting in developing new M&E tools.
- Indexing and maintaining the internal evidence repository.
- Organizing, updating, and verifying the MERL database and project data.
- Collaborating with Education & Digital, Communications, and Programme teams.
- Participating in staff meetings and other MERL activities.
Requirements
- Enrolled in the final stages of a Master’s program or recently graduated in education, development studies, economics, psychology, public policy, or related fields.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of SPSS, STATA, or other statistical software is a plus.
- Interest in social and financial education programs.
- Experience or interest in knowledge management.
- Strong teamwork and adaptability skills.
- English proficiency required.
- Eligibility to intern in the Netherlands or remotely for 4–6 months.
Benefits
Stipend: Up to €400/month (full-time)
