    About the Role
    Our client, a leading distributor of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) across Nigeria, is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources & Administration. This role is ideal for a proactive and results-driven professional who can effectively manage people, policies, and processes while supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent management initiatives.
    • Oversee performance management and employee appraisal processes.
    • Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and regulatory standards.
    • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance workforce capability.
    • Oversee payroll administration, leave management, and employee records.
    • Drive employee engagement and retention strategies.
    • Supervise administrative operations and ensure efficient office management.
    • Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management presentations.
    • Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership and department heads.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
    • Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
