Swedfund International is seeking an Impact Manager to contribute to impactful investments across East Africa, focusing on integrating sustainability and impact considerations in investment processes.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting impact integration in investment decision-making
Ensuring effective impact measurement and management systems
Driving value creation through sustainable investment practices
Strengthening impact frameworks across Swedfund’s portfolio
Conducting impact due diligence for potential investments
Monitoring and evaluating impact performance of ongoing projects
Supporting the development of impact management frameworks
Collaborating with investment teams to align financial and impact objectives
Identifying opportunities for enhancing impact outcomes
Contributing to business development efforts and pipeline growth
Representing Swedfund in stakeholder engagements, partnerships, and events

Requirements

A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in impact investing, development finance, sustainability, or related fields
Demonstrated experience in impact assessment, monitoring, and evaluation
Familiarity with sectors aligned with Swedfund’s investment priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Eligibility to live and work in Nairobi, Kenya
