Overview

This position offers a valuable opportunity for experienced engineers to contribute to humanitarian infrastructure development in Nigeria. The Infrastructure Supervisor/Engineer will support the implementation, supervision, and monitoring of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily supervision of construction activities.
• Ensure adherence to designs, specifications, and timelines.
• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship.
• Track project progress and identify delays.
• Verify completed works before payment approvals.
• Assist in site assessments and technical guidance.
• Liaise with community leaders and local authorities.
• Maintain accurate site records and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with COOPI policies and donor requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional certification is an advantage.
• 5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision.
• Experience with donor-funded projects is desirable.
• Ability to read technical drawings and strong problem-solving skills.
