Overview

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Coordinator for Communications. This role is situated within the United States Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) and involves managing communication systems and ensuring the efficient flow of information.

Key Responsibilities

Providing daily supervision of RSC communication staff engaged in beneficiary services.
Identifying high-risk refugee cases requiring expedited processing.
Liaising with internal and external partners, including UNHCR and USCIS.
Monitoring communication channels to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Developing regular situational reports on security conditions.
Updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to communications.
Representing the RSC in meetings with government and UN stakeholders.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Sciences, International Relations or related discipline plus five years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with seven years of experience.
Experience in supervisory roles within refugee resettlement or case processing environments.
Strong proficiency in computer applications and communication systems.
Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
