The International Paralympic Committee has launched the second call for its Classification Research Grant, supporting multidisciplinary research that strengthens evidence-based classification systems across Para sports.
This funding opportunity supports research designed to improve fairness, transparency, and scientific rigor in Para sport classification.
Projects should contribute to the development of robust classification systems that enhance competitive equity across Paralympic sports.
Grant Amount: €30,000 – €150,000
Project Duration: 12–24 months
Programme Period: 2026–2028

Collaborative partnerships between academic institutions and sport bodies
The grant follows a two-stage application process, beginning with submission of a short project summary.
