    Overview

    Internews' Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is offering grants for journalists, communicators, and digital content creators in India to produce in-depth reporting projects on the country’s clean energy and clean mobility transition. Selected applicants will receive funding and editorial mentorship.

    Journalists, communicators, and digital content creators based in India.

    Benefits

    • Grant funding up to ₹1 lakh for text or multimedia reporting projects.
    • Grant funding up to ₹3 lakh for video reporting or collaborative projects between communicators and content creators.
    • One-on-one editorial mentorship from experts at the Earth Journalism Network.
    • Budgets can include travel, accommodation, translation, data visualization, and reporting costs.
    • Equipment purchases should not exceed 10% of the total budget.
    • Freelancer compensation should not exceed 30% of the total budget.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Produce an in-depth report or series of reports (text, video, or multimedia) for communicators.
    • Create at least five engaging social media content pieces related to the topic for content creators.
    • Ensure reporting can be completed and published by October 31, 2026.

    How to Apply
