Overview

UNESCO is offering an internship opportunity for students and recent graduates interested in education, literacy, and international development.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting preparations for International Literacy Day 2026
• Assisting in managing the UNESCO International Literacy Prizes
• Contributing to the preparation of UNESCO’s report on literacy initiatives
• Carrying out additional tasks related to youth and adult literacy initiatives

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree (final year), Master’s degree, or PhD programme
• OR have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD within the last 12 months
• Academic background in education, international development, social sciences, or related fields
