Overview

The Afreximbank Internship Programme 2026 offers students and recent graduates practical experience in shaping Africa’s trade and economic development.

Eligibility

Open to full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students in recognized institutions.
Preferred fields: economics, finance, accounting, business administration, law, engineering, sciences, and social sciences.
Applicants must be between 20 and 32 years old.
Nationals of Afreximbank member states or students of African descent in the diaspora.
Fluency in English or French is required; knowledge of Arabic or Portuguese is an advantage.

Benefits

Monthly stipend of 1000 USD.
Housing allowance of 500 USD if relocating.
Covers return travel costs.
One week of hotel accommodation during the induction period.
Interns are responsible for their general living expenses including feeding and insurance.
