This programme offers fully funded master’s degree scholarships to outstanding early to mid-career professionals from 24 eligible African countries. The fellowship aims to strengthen leadership, build national capacity to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and foster long-term partnerships between participating countries and Ireland.
Applicants will receive comprehensive support to pursue postgraduate education in Ireland. However, the fellowship does not provide financial assistance or visa support for spouses or dependents.
Interested applicants are encouraged to review all application documents carefully and ensure they meet every eligibility requirement before beginning the application process. The selection process consists of three competitive stages: Preliminary Application, Detailed Application, and Interview. Further guidance can be found on the official website.
The application process is for the 2027/2028 academic year; exact deadlines will need confirmation on the official website.
