Overview

This program offers the Kader Asmal Fellowship, providing South African professionals with the chance to pursue fully funded master’s degree studies in Ireland for the 2027/2028 academic year. It aims to develop future leaders and foster cooperation between Ireland and South Africa.

Eligibility

• Must be a resident national of South Africa.
• At least two years of substantial work experience related to the intended field of study.
• Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited higher education institution.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Applicants with second-class honours Grade 2 may be considered with significant relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s qualification must be obtained in 2015 or later.
• Must not already possess a master’s degree or higher.
• Available to commence a master’s program in Ireland from August 2027.
