The Italian Government Scholarships 2026–2027 offer fully funded opportunities for foreign students and Italian citizens living abroad to pursue studies in Italy.
Eligibility
- Foreign students from eligible countries
- Italian citizens living abroad (IRE) in selected countries
Benefits
Winners of the scholarships receive:
- €10,800 total for 9-month scholarships
Paid in three instalments of €5,500, €2,300, and €3,000 - €3,600 total for 3-month Italian language scholarships (paid in one instalment)
- Health insurance coverage during the scholarship period
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online through the Study in Italy portal.

The application deadline is March 26, 2026 at 14:00 Italian time.
