Overview

Save the Children International is recruiting for the position of Pharmacist in Yobe State, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise medication dispensing.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of drugs.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and remove expired medicines.
• Maintain accurate stock records.
• Monitor drug consumption trends and coordinate supply orders.
• Ensure proper reporting of stock movement.
• Oversee cold chain management and compliance with contingency plans.
• Train pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support pharmacovigilance activities.

Requirements

• BSc in Pharmacy.
• Valid practicing license.
• At least 2 years of post NYSC experience.
• Experience in humanitarian settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel.

Benefits

Contract duration is 6 months with regular interaction with children under safeguarding guidelines.
