Nutrition Program Manager

Mercy Corps is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Nutrition Program Manager to support its humanitarian response in Northeast Nigeria.

Mercy Corps has been operating in Nigeria since 2012, providing humanitarian assistance, economic development support, and conflict mitigation programs. With ongoing displacement caused by insurgency in the region, the organization continues to deliver multi sectoral interventions including nutrition, WASH, food security, protection, and early recovery.

Role Summary

The Nutrition Program Manager will provide technical leadership for nutrition programming across Mercy Corps Nigeria operations. The role includes program design, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and proposal development. The manager will also support coordination with sector partners, strengthen team capacity, and ensure programs align with national and international nutrition standards.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or related field preferred
At least 10 years of progressive professional experience
Experience in humanitarian response and complex operational environments
Strong experience in proposal development and program design
Familiarity with major donors such as UNOCHA and EC/ECHO
Fluency in written and spoken English
