Powerstove-NASENI is a stove manufacturing company dedicated to developing affordable, sustainable, and renewable energy solutions for households and communities across developing countries. The company is currently one of the leading producers of clean cookstoves in Nigeria. It remains the only indigenous producer of bio-pellets used as fuel for these stoves.

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), in partnership with Powerstove Energy, has opened recruitment for qualified professionals to support the production and distribution of affordable and clean cooking stoves for households across Nigeria. This recruitment exercise follows the establishment of new stove assembly factories in different parts of the country. It is part of a broader effort to expand local manufacturing capacity and promote clean energy solutions for millions of Nigerians.

The organization is currently recruiting for several key roles to strengthen its operations and ensure the efficient production and quality control of its products.

One of the available positions is Factory Operations Manager. The role requires between eight and twelve years of relevant experience in manufacturing or factory management. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations, or related fields. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing factory setup, managing production planning, coordinating assembly line operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that production targets are achieved efficiently.

Another available role is Quality Assurance Officer. Applicants should have five to eight years of experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing sector. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma will be considered an added advantage. The role will involve ensuring compliance with quality standards, monitoring testing procedures, and maintaining ISO-based quality systems.

The recruitment also includes the position of Community Engagement and Health, Safety, and Environment Officer. This role focuses on promoting workplace safety, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and strengthening relationships with surrounding communities. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Social Sciences, or related disciplines. They should also have experience in safety training, risk assessment, and community outreach initiatives.

All positions are based in Abuja or other States.
