    Overview

    Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN) is seeking passionate professionals for job vacancies to support sexual and reproductive health and rights programs across Nigeria. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful community impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and implement SHIFT Project activities, including service delivery, community outreach, and youth programs.
    • Liaise with government agencies, health facilities, and civil society organizations to strengthen program delivery.
    • Monitor project implementation, collect data, and support reporting.
    • Lead implementation of youth-focused and gender-responsive adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights interventions.
    • Coordinate and deliver Comprehensive Sexuality Education activities for adolescents and young people.
    • Support peer education, youth engagement forums, and community dialogues.
    • Ensure meaningful participation of adolescents and young people, including marginalized groups.
    • Coordinate with service delivery points and partners, collect and submit routine reports and disaggregated data.
    • Support safeguarding and child protection standards, and promote inclusive approaches for young people with disabilities and underserved groups.

    Requirements

    Project Officer Shift Project:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Nursing, Midwifery, Health Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
    • Minimum of five years of experience in program implementation, preferably in an NGO, health, or development setting.
    • Experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights, family planning, maternal health, HIV, gender, or youth programs is an advantage.
    • Strong skills in planning, reporting, data collection, and basic monitoring and evaluation.
    • Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Willingness to travel regularly within the state.
    • Fluency in English.

    Youth and Inclusion Officer:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Education, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or a related field.
    • Minimum of three to five years of experience implementing youth-focused or adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights programs at community or state level.
    • Demonstrated experience delivering or coordinating Comprehensive Sexuality Education programs.
    • Strong understanding of adolescent development, gender equality, and youth engagement approaches in Nigeria.
    • Strong facilitation, coordination, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently at the state level.
    • Proficiency in basic data collection tools and Microsoft Office applications.
