    Job Overview

    Climate Catalyst seeks a Senior Digital Communications Manager to lead impactful digital communications that support its programs across Europe, India, and Indonesia.

    This role is essential for building the organization’s presence, reputation, and influence through strategic digital content, channel management, and stakeholder engagement.

    The candidate will work closely with teams, partners, and coalitions to develop shared digital strategies and enhance Climate Catalyst’s impact on climate policy.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategy Development

    • Contribute to the overall communications strategy of Climate Catalyst
    • Lead the development of digital strategies to support program impact in Europe and Asia
    • Advise colleagues on social media best practices and professional profile growth

    • Collaborate with partners and coalitions to co-create digital strategies and share best practices
    • Manage and optimize digital channels, including website and social media platforms
    • Develop thought leadership content to establish Climate Catalyst’s expertise
    • Implement and oversee SEO strategies to increase visibility and engagement

    Content Creation

    • Lead content development for digital channels, including graphics, reports, and videos using tools like Canva
    • Write and edit copy for websites, newsletters, social media, and digital campaigns
    • Schedule, post, and interact with audiences across digital platforms
    • Maintain brand assets such as image and icon libraries
    • Ensure consistent branding and content quality

    Administration and Reporting

    • Support brand consistency and digital best practices
    • Assist with digital campaign budgeting and monitoring
    • Maintain dashboards to report on digital impact and effectiveness
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and use of tools like HubSpot
    • Manage relationships with external consultants and agencies

    Innovation & Learning

    • Stay informed about digital trends and identify opportunities for experimentation
    • Conduct learning sessions to share digital best practices within the team and partners

    Candidate Profile

    Essential Skills & Experience

    • Extensive experience in digital and social media communications
    • Strong knowledge of digital campaigning tools and techniques
    • Proven experience managing WordPress websites and content creation

    • Experience leading digital marketing or advocacy campaigns
    • Skilled in using digital channels for audience engagement and policy advocacy
    • Experience with paid digital campaigns and working with digital influencers (desirable)
    • Demonstrable success in measuring and improving digital impact

    • Excellent storytelling, written, and visual content creation skills
    • Proven ability to work in partnership within civil society and advocacy spaces
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is highly valued
