    Center for Disaster Philanthropy Job Summary

    Job Title: Program Associate, International Funds
    Job Location: Flexible (remote); Must be located and eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future. Must be based in Mountain, Central, or Eastern US time zones.
    Closing Date: June 18, 2026
    Contract: Full-time, Salaried, Exempt
    Annual Salary: $66,300

    Candidates will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The position remains open until a diverse and qualified pool of applicants is achieved. The ideal start date is 2-4 weeks after offer.

    Responsibilities & Duties

    Fund Management Support

    • Conduct desk research on ongoing and potential disasters, synthesizing data into accessible formats.
    • Assist in monitoring fund documentation, strategies, and reports.
    • Contribute to creating quarterly grant reports highlighting activity, trends, and lessons learned.
    • Support administrative and budget functions, including database management and team travel planning.
    • Help maintain grant strategy documents utilizing needs assessment data.

    International Team Support

    • Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making, creating reports, charts, infographics, and presentations.
    • Support meetings with scheduling, material preparation, and tracking.
    • Engage in philanthropy trips and impact storytelling with grantee partners.
    • Maintain records of meetings and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

    Additional Duties

    • Manage emails and inquiries related to grants.
    • Support the organization’s strategic goals.
    • Perform other duties as needed to support the team.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Required

    • ≥ 3 years of experience in philanthropy, disasters, nonprofits, or social programs.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and proactively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and social media platforms.

    Preferred

    • Familiarity with philanthropic or disaster response fields.
    • Knowledge of post-disaster needs assessments and humanitarian architecture.
    • Spanish language proficiency.
    • Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT or similar CRM systems.
    • Willingness to learn new project management tools.
