Overview
The GitLab Foundation is seeking a Senior Impact Analyst to enhance its impact advisory services by delivering evidence-based insights for social impact clients. This is a fully remote position based in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis including impact modeling, theory of change mapping, literature reviews, key informant interviews, and scenario analyses.
- Develop executive-ready reports, presentations, financial models, and training materials that translate complex findings into actionable insights.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and ensure timely and aligned project execution.
- Collaborate with impact modeling teams to enhance cost-effectiveness analysis frameworks.
- Drive process improvements integrating AI tools into research workflows.
- Contribute to internal impact measurement efforts and support philanthropic partnerships.
Requirements
- 5+ years in applied research, technical consulting, or related roles within nonprofit or social impact sectors.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research expertise, with impact evaluation and welfare analysis experience preferred.
- Coursework or experience in econometrics, statistics, or causal inference.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, R, Stata, or similar tools; data visualization skills (Tableau, PowerBI) a plus.
- Independent research capability, organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects.
- High emotional intelligence, humility, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Benefits
- Base Salary: $85,000–$100,000 USD
- Total Compensation: $115,000–$155,000 USD (including benefits)
