    About the Role

    The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is seeking a dedicated Corporate Engagement Advisor, Agri-Food to join its Impact Finance & Markets division.

    This role involves developing and executing strategies to engage corporations within the agri-food value chain, fostering partnerships that integrate nature into business models, and supporting conservation goals through innovative corporate relationships.

    The position is remote, with candidates required to be within 5 hours of Eastern Time.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Corporate Engagement

    • Develop and implement effective corporate engagement strategies within the agri-food sector
    • Build and maintain constructive relationships with corporate partners, NGOs, and internal teams
    • Conduct research to inform strategies and prepare project proposals for external stakeholders

    Relationship Management & Coordination

    • Serve as relationship manager for selected corporations, supporting engagement activities
    • Collaborate with teams across TNC, including Global Provide Food & Water, Science, Government Relations, and Development
    • Support corporate participation in on-the-ground projects, regional consortia, and conservation initiatives

    Program and Project Support

    • Ensure compliance with policies and external requirements
    • Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and assist with fundraising activities as needed
    • Supervise staff and coordinate internal and external project efforts

    Qualifications & Skills

    Essential

    • Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, social/natural sciences, business, or related fields
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate relations, sustainability, or government engagement
    • Knowledge of corporate sustainability practices in food and water sectors

    • Experience with agri-food industries including CPG companies, supply chain management, livestock, and crop systems
    • Strong project management, relationship-building, and communication skills
    • Fluency in English

    Preferred

    • Multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish and/or Portuguese
    • Private sector experience developing ESG and supply chain sustainability programs
    • Ability to work effectively in multicultural, multidisciplinary teams

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary range for U.S. applicants: $95,000 – $124,300 annually, based on experience and location
    • Competitive pay for international applicants in local currencies, aligned with regional markets
