    Primary responsibilities include:

    • Monitoring and tracking resource mobilization work plans and reporting on progress
    • Supporting the review, documentation, and continuous improvement of resource mobilization frameworks
    • Coordinating the development, updating, and implementation of resource mobilization strategies across programmes
    • Liaising with monitoring and evaluation teams to ensure adherence to established standards
    • Facilitating coordination and information sharing to prevent duplication of resource mobilisation efforts
    • Supporting capacity-building initiatives for State Parties, including structured financing dialogues
    • Maintaining strong internal coordination and collaboration across departments and programmes
    • Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors or senior leadership

    The position places strong emphasis on interdepartmental cooperation and the ability to manage complex coordination systems across multiple stakeholders.

    Academic Qualifications and Professional Experience Requirements

    Applicants are required to possess a university degree in relevant disciplines such as:

    The remuneration package varies depending on recruitment category:

    • Internationally recruited staff: US$ 77,425.50 per annum (inclusive of allowances)
    • Locally recruited staff at the AfCFTA Secretariat: US$ 59,805.19 per annum (inclusive of allowances)

    The African Union has also reinforced its gender mainstreaming policy, encouraging qualified women to apply. Proficiency in one AU working language is mandatory, while fluency in an additional language is considered an added advantage.
