    Salary & Benefits

    • International Staff: $77,425.50 annually (inclusive of allowances)
    • Local Staff: $59,805.19 annually (inclusive of allowances)

    About the Role

    The Junior Program Officer will support the coordination, monitoring, and implementation of resource mobilization strategies under the AfCFTA Secretariat. The role focuses on strengthening programme funding, improving coordination across departments, and ensuring alignment with established standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor and track resource mobilization work plans
    • Support development and review of funding frameworks
    • Coordinate implementation of mobilization strategies across programmes
    • Work closely with Monitoring & Evaluation teams
    • Facilitate collaboration and reduce duplication of efforts
    • Support capacity-building initiatives for AU Member States
    • Maintain strong internal coordination and stakeholder engagement

    Eligibility Requirements

    Applicants must:

    • Hold a degree in Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, Public Finance, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field
    • Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
    • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
    • Be able to work across diverse teams and cultural environments
    • Be proficient in at least one AU official language (English, French, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, Kiswahili)
