    2026 RECRUITMENT EXERCISE (APPLICATION IS FREE)

    The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), a paramilitary organization and the lead agency in road safety administration and traffic management in Nigeria, hereby invites applications from qualified, competent, and motivated individuals to join its workforce as part of its 2026 recruitment exercise. The FRSC is recognized nationwide for its commitment to road safety in Nigeria.

    This recruitment drive is aimed at engaging young, vibrant, disciplined, and intelligent Nigerians who are passionate about public service and committed to making Nigerian roads safer during this FRSC nationwide recruitment exercise.

    AVAILABLE POSITIONS

    FIRST CATEGORY: OFFICER CADRE

    A. Superintendent Route Commander (SRC) – CONPASS 11
    Qualifications:
    • Applicants must possess a degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

    B. Route Commander / Deputy Route Commander (RC/DRC) – CONPASS 10/09
    Qualifications:
    • Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following:
    – Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
    – Nursing (B.Sc Nursing)
    – Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
    – Law (LLB/BL)
    – Engineering (B.Eng/B.Tech)

    C. Assistant Route Commander (ARC) – CONPASS 08
    Qualifications:
    • Applicants must possess a B.Sc, BA, or HND from a recognized institution
    • Must have completed NYSC or possess a certificate of exemption

    SECOND CATEGORY: MARSHAL INSPECTORATE CADRE

    Marshal Inspector II & III (MI-II & MI-III) – CONPASS 07/06
    Qualifications:
    • Applicants must possess any of the following:
    – NCE
    – ND/OND
    – Registered Nurse (RN) / Registered Midwife (RM)
    – Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) certificate

    THIRD CATEGORY: ROAD MARSHAL ASSISTANT CADRE

    A. Road Marshal Assistant II & III (RMA II & III) – CONPASS 04/03
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
    • Must include English Language and Mathematics
    • Not more than two sittings

    B. Drivers, Riders & Artisans
    (Open to applicants with skills such as:)
    • Driving
    • Motorcycle riding
    • Computer operation
    • Mechanics
    • Electrical work
    • Plumbing
    • Tailoring
    • Other technical trades

    Additional Requirements:
    • Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE
    • Valid National Driver’s Licence (for drivers/riders) is an added advantage
    • Trade Test Certificate or relevant professional certification

    GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

    Applicants must:
    • Be Nigerian by birth
    • Be medically fit and provide a certificate of fitness from a government hospital
    • Be of good character and not have any criminal record
    • Not be financially indebted
    • Be single at the time of application
    • Be physically and mentally fit for paramilitary duties
    • Meet height requirements:
    – Minimum of 1.65m for males
    – Minimum of 1.56m for females
    • Possess valid email address and phone number
    • Ensure all qualifications are properly declared at the point of application

    Age Requirements:
    • Officer Cadre: 18 – 35 years
    • Marshal Inspectorate: 18 – 30 years
    • Road Marshal Assistant: 16 – 30 years
    • Drivers (Articulated/Tow Trucks): 26 – 40 years

    Note: Pregnant applicants are advised not to apply due to the physical demands of the training.

    METHOD OF APPLICATION

    Applicants are required to print their completed application forms upon submission, as shortlisted candidates will be required to present them during screening. Furthermore, the FRSC will process these applications as part of its legitimate nationwide recruitment drive.
