💼 ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Microbiologist will be responsible for conducting aseptic sampling and performing microbial analysis across various stages of production. This includes testing water systems, raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and manufacturing environments to ensure strict compliance with quality assurance and regulatory standards.

🔍 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform aseptic sampling and microbial testing of water, raw materials, and finished products
• Conduct microbiological analysis on production equipment and manufacturing environments
• Monitor hygiene practices through routine testing such as finger dab assessments
• Prepare, sterilize, and manage culture media, reagents, and laboratory equipment
• Calibrate laboratory instruments and ensure proper maintenance
• Carry out environmental monitoring and report findings, including pre- and post-fumigation activities
• Document laboratory results accurately and maintain proper records for trend analysis
• Identify non-conforming products and prepare out-of-specification (OOS) reports
• Support research and development through microbiological testing for stability studies

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or laboratory environment
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and microbial testing procedures
• Proficiency in laboratory equipment such as incubators, autoclaves, and spectrophotometers
• Good understanding of microbiological standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
