💼 JOB OVERVIEW:
The Internal Audit Officer will be responsible for evaluating risk management processes, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance across business operations. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to provide valuable insights that enhance operational efficiency and governance.

🔍 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assess risk management techniques across assigned business areas
• Develop and execute risk-based audit programs
• Conduct audits on business processes, systems, financials, and operations
• Identify control gaps and recommend improvements
• Prepare detailed audit reports and supporting documentation
• Evaluate compliance with policies, regulations, and statutory requirements
• Perform IT and systems audits (ERP tools such as Oracle or Power Enterprise)
• Carry out inventory checks, reconciliations, and spot audits
• Collaborate with business units to improve efficiency and strengthen controls

🎓 REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree (BSc/HND) in Accounting or related field
• 1–3 years’ experience in auditing, IT systems, or similar roles
• Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, ACA, ACCA) are an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, and regulations
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
• Ability to work independently and travel for audit assignments when required
