Solidarités International (SI) is hiring a Logistics Manager to support humanitarian operations in Northern Nigeria.

🎯 Role Purpose
The Logistics Manager will oversee and coordinate all logistics operations at the assigned base, ensuring efficient procurement, supply chain management, fleet operations, and compliance with SI procedures.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
📦 Supply & Procurement Management
- Manage purchasing processes and supplier relationships
- Supervise procurement planning, tenders, and contract preparation
- Monitor logistics budgets and ensure compliance with donor rules
- Maintain updated supplier databases and price lists
🚚 Fleet & Transport Management
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and fuel usage
- Ensure drivers comply with safety policies and procedures
- Monitor vehicle logs, mileage, and documentation
- Prevent misuse of fuel and vehicle assets
💻 Equipment & IT Management
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper distribution of materials
- Install and manage communication tools
- Ensure IT systems are functional, secure, and regularly updated
- Provide technical support and staff training
📊 Warehouse & Stock Management
- Supervise storage facilities and stock control systems
- Conduct monthly inventory checks
- Ensure proper documentation and storage conditions
👥 Team & HR Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise logistics staff
- Conduct performance reviews and team meetings
- Build team capacity and ensure efficiency
🔐 Security & Reporting
- Implement safety and security measures
- Report logistics activities and provide operational updates
- Support audits and program reporting
🎓 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar INGO role
- At least 5 years in humanitarian sector
- Strong knowledge of procurement, fleet, and inventory systems
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & reporting tools
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
