    Overview

    The London School of Economics and Political Science is inviting applications for its LSE Fellow in Interdisciplinary Social Science, a prestigious early-career academic position within its flagship undergraduate programme, LSE100. This opportunity is ideal for emerging scholars passionate about innovative teaching, interdisciplinary research, and tackling global challenges.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teaching at least eight fortnightly seminar groups (approximately six contact hours per week)
    • Contributing to the design and development of course materials
    • Supporting and engaging students in an interactive learning environment
    • Participating in administrative duties related to course delivery
    • Developing an independent research agenda

    Requirements

    • A completed or near-completed PhD in a social science or related discipline
    • Experience in teaching and assessment, ideally in interdisciplinary settings
    • Excellent communication, organisational, and collaboration skills
    • A commitment to inclusive and engaging education
