Overview

This program offers the Mastercard Foundation Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) Scholarships 2026–2027 at the University of Toronto, aimed at supporting outstanding African scholars to pursue a DrPH degree and become transformative leaders in public health.

Eligibility

• Be citizens and residents of Sub-Saharan African countries
• Have graduated from an Africa Health Collaborative partner institution
• Have not yet started a doctoral program
• Demonstrate strong academic excellence and leadership potential
• Meet admission requirements for the University of Toronto DrPH program
• Commit to returning to Africa after graduation to contribute to development
