Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Limited and SunTrust Oil Company Nigeria Limited are offering scholarships for Nigerian students in secondary schools and universities. The scheme aims to promote academic excellence and improve skills among youths in host communities and Delta State.

Award Category

• Secondary School Community Award – for host communities only
• University Community Award – for host communities only
• University Merit Award – for Delta State indigenes only

Requirements for Secondary School Community Award (Host Communities Only)

• Open to JSS 1 & JSS 2 Students.
• Admission letter to a Secondary School in Nigeria.
• Result of the last year in Primary School or JSS 1 result.
• Birth Certificate.
• Identification letter signed by Ward Counsellor or CACC.

Requirements for University Community Award (Host Communities Only)

• Open to 100 and 200 level students at the time of application.
• Minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE (including Mathematics & English) in one sitting.
• JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from an accredited/approved university in Nigeria.
• Current University ID Card.
• Identification letter signed by Ward Counsellor or CACC.

Requirements for University Merit Award (Delta State Indigenes Only)

• Open to 200 level students with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 at the time of application.
• Minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE (including Mathematics & English) in one sitting.
• JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from an accredited/approved university in Nigeria.
• Current University ID Card.
• Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from the first year (3.5 and above).
• Letter of identification from LGA.
