    Overview

    This position offers an opportunity to work as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and Data Specialist for the Decarbonising Humanitarian Energy initiative, focusing on monitoring & evaluation, data analysis, and supporting sustainable energy solutions in humanitarian settings.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement MEL frameworks, including Theory of Change (ToC), performance indicators, log frames, and reporting tools.
    • Establish standardized templates for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Monitor and evaluate the overall impact of the DHE MPTF, linking results to SDG outcomes.
    • Provide technical guidance on MEL during project design, implementation, and reporting.
    • Design tools to improve data quality, accessibility, and analysis.
    • Identify and synthesize lessons learned and best practices.
    • Manage evaluation processes, including planning, execution, and utilization.
    • Contribute to daily operations, partner coordination, and reporting.

    Requirements

    • Education: Master’s Degree in a relevant field, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 additional years of relevant experience.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years (Master’s) or 7 years (Bachelor’s) in MEL within international development or humanitarian sectors.
    • Skills: Expertise in results-based management, data analysis, evaluation methodologies, and familiarity with data analytics tools.
    • Languages: Fluency in English; knowledge of additional UN languages is a plus.
